6 hour power outage at my university and residence this morning, giving me the perfect excuse not to go to my only class of the day. I'll admit, I've been very bored. It seems I don't know what to do with myself when the internet is down and I can't loiter in the caf. Me. So. Hungry. #firstworldproblems. Moving on...
In the past couple of weeks, I've been trying to kill my hair through countless rounds of bleach and dye (re: my post title 'dye'/'die', get it? Eh, eh? I'm so clever, mwahahah). I justify my abuse with the no-washing thing, which I'm still doing and enjoying. When I first tried out the purple, only the very ends of my hair were bleach blonde so the effect was very subtle. This time, I bleached about halfway up my head (it took three rounds of bleach to get my hair light enough) and then applied the same purple dye (Directions in Lilac), but this time for about an hour instead of the recommended 15 minutes. It comes out almost neon blue at first but like I said, it fades so fast that it doesn't even matter. I love it and am going higher... again. Seriously considering my whole head at this point. You only live once, right?
